Inspiration and Information from Pastor Jana Alcorn and various leadership resources to assist today’s Christian servant in the Move of God!

Proverbs 15:22 NIV -- Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

A WORD FROM PASTOR JANA ALCORN

Leader, sometimes we need someone to help us to discern the seasons of God in our ministries. You will be unable to accomplish the goals the Lord has ordained for your completion if you fail to perceive your season. Many times we need others to facilitate the opening of our understandings.

May I share these thoughts to assist you in your forward progression of the seasons of the Lord in your life?

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Eccl 3:1 (KJV)

I want to share with you four seasons that you will ultimately face in ministry.

1. A SEASON TO APPROACH THE RIGHT PEOPLE.

Philip findeth Nathanael and saith unto him........John 1:45 KJV

For all of us, there are people that are a key element to the fulfillment of our dreams. It has been said that all of us are only five people away from anybody that we would ever desire to meet. For one knows one and that one knows another that knows that one that ultimately has a connection to the one person that you would like to meet.

Relationship building in the Kingdom has become of more significance in recent years. However, there is a season for God to bring certain ones into your life. Paul was born out of due season. Jesus Christ came in the appointed time. The man bearing the pitcher of water was approached at just the right time to borrow a donkey for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. There are people that are a part of your vision. Know the season to approach the right people.

2. A SEASON TO TRAIN OTHERS

Many of you now need to begin a season of training and mentoring others. It is now time to call forth your sons and daughters. Paul was mentored by a woman. Timothy was mentored by Paul. Timothy went on to father others who would come under his realm of influence. There is a time to gather stones......Ecc. 3:5 KJV Gather those around you whom God has called and begin to speak into their lives and ministries.

3. A SEASON TO SOW SEEDS FOR YOUR FUTURE.

At some point, you must look to the future vision that is growing within you and begin to plant seeds now for your intended goals. These could be seeds of relationship, seeds of wisdom and honor, seeds of finance, or seeds of peace. Whatever seed you may plant will produce after its own kind as long as the earth remains. (Genesis 8:22) Your harvest is not determined at the point of need, but at the time of the sowing of the seed. God is a planner. Plant your seeds and sow to your future.

4. A SEASON OF REWARD

We are a people that are reward-motivated. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (Rev. 22:12 KJV) “thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.” (Matthew 6:18 KJV)

Do you know that you can expect seasons of open reward? God is a rewarder. He pays wages. For many now, the season of the Lord will bring you into reward. This is just as natural for God to do this for you as it is for you to reward your own children. You will enjoy the fruit of your own labor. Be blessed as you enter into a season of reward.

Leader, discern your season. There are many seasons in your ministry and all of them have something vital to contribute to the purpose of the Lord for your life. Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might!

INSIDE THE SEED

Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine. Romans 16:13 KJV

This precious woman spoken into Paul’s life and was his mother in the Lord. At some point, this lady had nurtured Paul in the Lord, even tho she was not his biological mother. It is time to honor your father and your mother.

LEADERSHIP LINES

PROPHETIC WORD

I have sent a Word and a messenger to bring a change into your life. No longer shall you sit by the wayside and wait for me to do it, says the Lord, for I am stirring you now. I have raised you up with a longing and now is the appointed time. The processes of my Spirit have moved deep in your life to bring you to this season. Now, move forward. You have my Word and you have the activity of My Spirit within. I give you an impassioned plea to move forward. I have set the stage for your complete obedience.
