There is a Fountain

by Pam Clark

Until Jesus comes again, God will still be reaching out to His people that He has created and loves. Some who are saved, He has called and set apart for His special ministry work, but there are none that He has called to be apart from Him for Life.

It is the will of God for ALL to be saved. Jesus died on a cruel Cross for all of us! Up until that time, God spoke to people through a select few individuals so that there would be a knowledge of Him in the earth. But after the Resurrection, on the day of Pentecost, God opened up a Fountain of Life for who so ever will, to have well springs of Living Water within them!

In Old Testament times, people had sacrifices they could make to find atonement for their sins. But it was not perfect until Jesus came and then He died once for all as the perfect Sacrifice and Atonement for all time. And with the fulfillment of that perfection came the Promise of the Father, the gift of the Presence and power of the Holy Spirit, Whom Jesus promised to send to and for all who would believe and ask.

The wellspring of the Holy Spirit began on the day of Pentecost and has been flowing ever since to those who would receive Him. This wellspring did not stop and start again. There are many rivers, but only one Fountainhead.

Christians need to learn how to get along with each other! And they need to discern the truth through the Scriptures that in the last days there will be many who say, “Look, He is over here,” or “Look, He is over there.” He may be there, but He is also with you, if you believe!

There are no “new movements” in God. There may be revivals and renewals and there may be many outpourings of His blessings, but these things are all available from the same One Fountain Head. God began reaching out to mankind from their Fall in the Garden and He is continuing to reach out today through His Words.

When people tell you that God is changing His Scriptures or that it doesn’t mean what it says, they are telling you a lie! Now there are many interpretations, but I want the one that works! How about you? If you seek Him, you will find Him. He promised!!!

God has a good plan for Mankind and it goes through the Cross, and flows through Pentecost for power and gifts and blessings. But it is not a “new doctrine” that tells you unholy life is the okay way to live. But rather it tells you that holy life is possible because of it, and that you can find joy unspeakable and full of glory!

God has more good for you than you can hold. Are you open to Him for it?
